adidas Originals and White Mountaineering have combined yet again on a cool, crisp, seasonal collection of sneakers and apparel blending the monochromatic colour-blocking and earthy, organic overtones they are so well known for. On the sneaker front, adidas have focussed in on some key silhouettes including the NMD Trail and NMD R2 sneakers, giving the Trail a solid hiking boot-inspired look with jagged, sawtooth outsole and a mixed textile and synthetic upper for that rugged look. The R2 gets a more futuristic look with its sock-like design and fit, blending sleek lines and branded paneling all sitting upon the ultra responsive Boost™ sole cushioning. Stand out items on the apparel front include an all weather Windbreaker, a pullover, and track jacket, as well as a pair of cargo pocket pants.
adidas keeps up the NMD momentum with the release of 3 new colourways of the R2, the follow-up to the much-loved NMD R1. Arguably the pick of the bunch, the Primeknit version of the runner comes covered in a speckled grey and white all-over knit, a branded heel pull and Boost sole, forming a solid foundation for what could become a future classic. Along with this comes another R2 covered in a new and exciting colourway known as 'Future Harvest', which could be loosely described as an orange colour, perfect for the Autumn months. Last but not least we get the ladies version of the R2 with a crisp white and grey all over knit.
