By placing an order with the A STORE web store you acknowledge to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at info@astoreisgood.com before placing your order with us.

 

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. All contracts are concluded in English.

 

We may change or update these terms so please check this page regularly. We do not represent or warrant that the information on our web site is accurate, complete, or current. This includes pricing and availability information. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel any orders or ban any user that we suspect might have aided by browser automation, or a reservation service.

 

PRICES AND VAT

 

All prices on the A STORE webstore are given in Rands (ZAR) and are shown inclusive of South African sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 14% but exclusive of delivery costs.

 

AVAILABILITY

 

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

 

SHIPPING

 

We offer free shipping on all orders over R800. Orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri only) will be shipped same day. Shipping estimates vary between 2-5 days depending on location with an average delivery time of 2. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays. All orders are shipped using secure packaging. No orders will be released until full payment has been received.

All purchases over R4000 will automatically qualify for overnight express shipping.(Major centres only)

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you wish to return a purchase, please notify us at info@astoreisgood.com stating your name and order number, within 14 days of receiving your product.

We are happy to refund any purchases in full provided that the goods in question are returned in the condition they were in when delivered to you.Returns will not be accepted on orders placed outside South Africa.

We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn and/or tags removed. Please be aware that shoes must be returned with their original packaging, shoes returned without their original boxes cannot be accepted.

Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been delivered with no tags, you should notify us by email on the same day. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

Orders that were shipped with an overnight or courier service will only be refunded for the value of the goods purchased and not the shipping. Refund requests received after 14 days but within 30 days, will qualify for A STORE vouchers/discount codes which are valid for 3 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed online or in store.

Please note that there are no free returns on sale items. You may still return the item at your own expense or we can arrange a collection at a charge of R80 (Major Centres only) which will be deducted from your refund amount. 

 

We do not offer any refunds on items marked FINAL CLEARANCE.

We do not offer any refunds or exchanges on books.

Once we receive and check the item is in its original condition we will refund your payment. Please note refunds to Debit/Credit Cards normally clear in 2-7 days. EFT refunds can take up to 2 days to be visible in customers account (Depending on Bank). Refunds to Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund regulations. The credit will appear on your original form of payment.

  

DISCOUNT CODES

  1. Discount codes are issued at A Store’s discretion. Users don't have the right to promotional coupons and can't earn them.
  2. Discount codes are issued with specific terms and conditions that regulate how and when they can be used. For example, certain codes may be product specific in that they are only valid against a selected group of products. Exclusions may also exist with certain coupons e.g. not valid on items in our SALE section. The onus is on the shopper to check the full coupon T&Cs to ensure they understand the coupon’s applications and limitations.
  3. A discount code can only be used against a purchase on the site when the purchase meets the terms and conditions as specified on the discount code.
  4. Only one discount code can be used per shopping cart. Codes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The discount value of the code will be deducted from the total amount in your shopping cart. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid by you.
  5. Creation of multiple A Store accounts, with different email addresses, in order to utilize a discount code on multiple occasions, is abuse of the benefit and A Store reserves the right to not release these orders.
  6. Should you wish to return an item you have purchased using a coupon: 

    a. If you have redeemed a code against a purchase, and you'd like to return all items purchased, A Store will refund you or credit your account with the rand value of the purchase. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions on the coupon for information on whether it will be reinstated and the terms that will apply. 

    b. If you have used a discount code against a purchase and then return some of the products purchased, A Store will apportion the value of the coupon across the relevant items in the cart and then refund you the relevant rand amount based on the items being returned. 

    c. If you have used a code against a purchase and then return some of the products purchased, A Store will recalculate the total value of your purchase AFTER the returned product(s) has/have been deducted. If the recalculated purchase value no longer meets the terms and conditions associated with the coupon, A Store reserves the right to deduct the value of the coupon off the refund for the returns, or, should you have credit in your Spree account, to debit the value of the coupon off your account balance.
  7. Order value must exceed R800 after discount for free delivery.

 

Discount codes cannot:

 

  1. Be used to buy gift vouchers
  2. Be exchanged for cash
  3. Be transferred to anyone else
  4. Be used after the expiry date.
  5. Be used together with any other promotion, including against items in our SALE section or items discounted as part of another promotional offer.

All content of our website including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, and software, is property of A STORE webstore and/or A STORE IS GOOD cc. and is protected by South Africa and international copyright laws. You may electronically copy and print hard copies of pages from this web site solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to placing an order or shopping with astoreisgood.com. Any other use of our web site, including reproduction and internet links, is strictly prohibited without our prior written permission.

SECURE PROCESSING

 

The A Store webstore uses secure processing called SSL Encryption Technology, which is the industry standard. SSL(Secure Sockets Layer)  is a protocol developed for the transmission of private information over the internet. SSL uses a private key to encrypt your data, including your credit card information, so that it cannot be read while being transferred over the internet.

 

PAYPAL

 

All non-confirmed PayPal purchases will be cancelled by the A STORE webstore. If you do not have a confirmed PayPal address, then please use the credit card purchase option instead. 

If your Paypal payment has not cleared within 24 hours of placing your order the item(s) will be put back on the shelf. If the item sells before payment has been received a refund will be given on the order.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

A STORE respects our customers’ account information as private and confidential information and will never share this with any outside afflictions or individuals. Your information is secured and encrypted with the Secure Socket Layer Software.
